Student: University of Calgary, majoring in Natural Sciences

My keys to success: A good coffee, patient and loving friends and family, supportive teammates and coach

If I wasn’t skating I’d be: I would probably be doing some other kind of sport. Sometimes I dream about becoming a professional surfer.

Hidden talents: I can bark like a dog

When I’ve got free time, I'm: working on projects. Anything from knitting a new toque, to planting a garden to finding new music. I also work as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the University of Calgary Pool.

Vices:  Binge watching a TV series, gluttony (I have very little self control around my sisters homemade baking)

Favorite Xiuli quote“I want you to please my eyes when I see you skate, and please my brain when I can’t see you skate.”
